May 25^th, 2012 Bahria University, Karachi campus. Students of Bahria University organized a job fair for the final year students and for the students who were interested in internships.

The university has invited Mobilink GSM Company, which is the Market leader in the telecommunication industry of Pakistan and on their approval the job fair was name on the company as “Mobilink Job Fair”.

Mr. Imran Mazhar (Assistant Manager HR recruitment, Mobilink) along with his team represented Mobilink and took walk-in interviews of the students of Bahria University. The main objectives of the Mobilink was to recruit students from Human Resource, Sales and Computer engineering background and take initial interviews in the job fair and proceed them forward in their recruitment and selection process.

On the other hand the response of Students was overwhelming. A huge number of students showed up at the interviews and the interview process took up to approximately 5hours to complete.

At the end of the job fair, while taking the views of Mr. Imran Mazhar regarding his experience in Bahria University, he showed his gratitude to the Director of Bahria University for cooperating with them and appreciated the efforts the students who were in the organizing team of the job fair and he was also obliged by the response of the Bahria University students.

On behalf of the students of Bahria University the organizing student body wants to thanks Mobilink GSM Company for showing its interest and coming to our university for their recruitment process. Although it’s an initial stage but we hope that our students from Bahria University get hired for the job and internship at Mobilink GSM Company and demonstrate the potential Bahria University student posses and become an integral part of the company. We also hope that Mobilink GSM Company will continue this new bond with Bahria University and will plan future job fair with us as well.

We also want to show our appreciation to Commodore Mazhar Iqbal (Director Bahria University), Mr. Tabbassum Nadeem (Deputy Director, Bahria University) and Student Resource Center for giving us the permission and helping us in organizing the job fair.

We hope Bahria University and its students will continue their efforts in organizing such events which become the gateway for the students to the industry and also help the Industry to find the potential in the student of Bahria University.
